Polly Sweater is a cozy, slightly oversized sweater with clean lines and contrast-color stripes. It is worked seamlessly from the top down and uses a European drop-shoulder construction for a flattering silhouette and a comfortable shoulder fit.
For a good fit, the sweater is shaped with short rows at the back neck to prevent the neckline from riding up, as well as short rows on the sleeves to give the arm a natural shape. The rather close-fitting neckline is finished with a 2 knit / 2 purl ribbing and is worn folded over.
The long sleeve cuffs are also worked in a 2 knit / 2 purl rib pattern and emphasize the cozy character of the design. The look is completed by a split hem rib at the body, which provides a clean and crisp finish.
